About the Roles

We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our team to help ensure a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable atmosphere for all fans at Springfield Stadium.

What We Expect of a Match Day Steward

As a volunteer, your support is crucial to the smooth running of our home games. We expect our stewards to be committed to the following key responsibilities:

• Crowd Management: Help maintain order, respectfully direct spectators to their seats or facilities, and assist with any fan queries.
• Safety & Security: Be aware of and actively enforce club safety regulations and procedures. This includes knowing emergency exits, first aid locations, and evacuation protocols.
• Professional Conduct: Be polite, respectful, and courteous when engaging with fans, players, and staff at all times.
• Operational Support: Follow instructions promptly from the Match Day Operations team to assist with the event's smooth flow.
• Fan Monitoring: Encourage positive sportsmanship and promptly report any concerns regarding fan behaviour to the Match Day Co-ordinator.
• Reliability: Be punctual and present for your duties for the duration of the match day.

Time Commitment & Location

• When: Ad-hoc Saturday or Tuesday Evenings when there are home games scheduled.
• Where: Springfield Stadium.
• Please note: This is a consistent opportunity and is suitable for those aged 18 and over.

Screening Process: Successful applicants will then go through a screening process that includes:

1. An ID Check.
2. Informal Discussion: The process may conclude with an Informal Discussion (which may include a short interview) to ensure the role is the right fit for you and the club.
