Jersey travelled to Harrow Borough, third in the Isthmian South-Central Division, three days after a heavy FA Cup replay defeat at Worthing. Five changes were made — but European-wide flight disruption from a cyber-attack gave the Bulls a terrible journey and delayed kick-off by 30 minutes, and within minutes Lekimamati pulled a hamstring.
An impressive Harrow side took full advantage as Lenny Farhall scored a hat-trick inside 20 minutes, the beneficiary of wide men consistently beating their men and crossing. 3-0 after 19 minutes. With the stuffing knocked out of them, Jersey gradually held their own and began to threaten before the break, Carvalho the source — one shot was cleared off the line and a Bickley header was disallowed.
Substitute Lucas Millar added a fourth late on, and only a magnificent Jinadu save prevented a fifth. A second blank in five days, and a chastening defeat.
