Jersey travelled to bottom of the table Guildford Saints for their last away game of the first phase of the season. Guildford had a wretched record having lost all seven matches they had played with a goal record of 3-76 having only twice not conceded nine or more. Jersey opted to only take a minimum number of players which was fortunate as on arrival Guildford only had nine. This meant under league rules a nine a side game could be played and not a very expensive fruitless journey made. Jersey left behind Emily Le Page, Lauren Queree, Aine Ruth, Danielle Bradshaw, Natasha Keen, Coco Leonard and Soraya Da Conceicao, all of whom had featured in recent matches.

It took Jersey five minutes to open the scoring and in the next half hour they had a baker’s dozen with Anita Tavares and Holly Sundby scoring five each. There was then a scoring moratorium for quarter of an hour before the one way traffic continued when Leah Morris completed her hat trick. Jersey swapped their attackers and defenders for the last twenty minutes, but the massacre continued. When Rachael McCartan scored the twenty-ninth with three minutes to go it meant all the outfielders had scored. Ella Brennand brought up the thirty in the last minute. Credit to Guildford for persevering. Tavares scored nine and assisted in ten others whilst Holly Sundby scored six and assisted with a further eight.
