Thank you to everyone who has shared their views on the announcement about the changes around the availability of our live stream of away matches. We are happy to announce that the stream of the away fixture against Bedfont Sports this evening at 7:45pm will be available on our YouTube channel, thanks to the support of Bloomsbury Money.
We appreciate that this sponsorship will enable off-Island fans, families and anyone who can’t get to Springfield to enjoy following the team.
Our aim in hosting the stream in the Bulls Bar at Springfield was to foster our community, not exclude people from it. The reality is that any sporting organisation needs to both rely on its community of fans for support and to balance its books so that it can keep growing. Every bit of profit made by the club is invested directly back into our teams to help build towards something bigger – and we want all of our supporters along for that journey.
Tonight’s fixture will still be streamed live in the Bulls Bar and we’d like to invite you to join us there to enjoy it alongside us as fellow fans. We’ve reduced the price of many drinks – alcoholic and non-alcoholic – and are looking at other ways of helping foster an inviting home atmosphere for away days.
To help us on our mission to achieve financial sustainability and grow the club, we do need your support and would like to invite other companies to partner with us to enable us to keep the broadcast stream free and accessible for all, beyond tonight’s fixture. Our streaming audience has been growing on the back of our media team’s efforts to provide a top-quality experience.
