We were delighted to welcome Serene Care Jersey as our new Home Matchday League Sponsor for our first home league game of the season on Sunday. The partnership feels particularly special because, at its heart, it is about something we believe football does better than almost anything else: bringing people together. For Sunday’s game, Serene Care brought along Bill, one of their clients, as our Guest of Honour. It was wonderful to have Bill with us at Springfield, experiencing the atmosphere, meeting the players and being part of the matchday. For us, that is what being a football club is about. It is not simply what happens for 90 minutes on the pitch. It is the conversations before kick-off, the people you meet, the memories you make and the feeling of belonging to something bigger than yourself.
A partnership built around people
Serene Care’s belief that living well includes maintaining relationships, pursuing interests and continuing to take part in the things that matter to you aligns so closely with what we want Jersey Bulls Women to represent. Football should be for everyone, at every stage of life. Sunday was a lovely example of that. There is also a particularly special connection between Serene Care and our team through Aine, one of our players and a Team Leader at Serene Care. Aine is an incredible person who brings so much warmth, energy and positivity to everything she does, both on and off the pitch. Having her as part of our team makes the relationship between the two organisations even more meaningful, and we are incredibly proud to see her representing both.
