Non-League Day 2024

On a day that was much anticipated for many, the Jersey Bulls saw their record league crowd attendance smashed out of the park with over 1,100 supporters coming down to Springfield Stadium.

This included 100 school children that had kindly been donated tickets to by Hawk.

With our Corporate Hospitality in full flow and hundreds of people visiting our FanZone, which featured a pizza van and DJ, this was a day not to be missed!

The game started off strong for the Jersey Bulls when our super striker Lorne Bickley fired the ball into the Farnham goal in the 5th minute of the game! The noise that came from the crowd was phenomenal. 

This goal not only opened the scoring for the day, but was also the first time that Farnham Town have been behind in the league so far this season!

Not long after, we witnessed a brilliant goal which started from the feet of Pierce Roche in goal, headed on by Bickley, and then controlled well by Barlow who glided past defenders to play an inch-perfect ball through the defence to Jonny Le Quesne who slotted the ball home past the oncoming Farnham Town goalkeeper. 

Wow.

After half time, Farnham Town showed their strength in depth and proved to everyone why they are at the top of the league by scoring two goals in quick succession to equalise late on.

The full time whistle blew and the scenes were amazing, our supporters did us proud.

Although the teams had shared the points, one point was all Farnham Town needed to seal the league title and confirm their promotion up to Step 4 next season.

Everyone can agree, even though we wish we could have won and ended Farnham Town's unbeaten run, watching them getting promoted on Non-League Day in front of a record crowd was testament to how dominant they have been this season.
